Snow Procedure – 2/10/15 & Trash/Recycling Pick-up Delay

FB_IMG_1422893730804 (1)The Property Manager spoke with Morin’s this morning, they indicated they will start the final clean-up on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, starting at 9 am.  They will sound their horns when they are in your area doing the final clean-up, so please move your cars.

With all the snow we have had in a short amount of time, it is increasingly getting harder to put snow in their normal locations when plowing.  Morin’s and Management is asking that when Morin’s is the area, that ALL cars be out of the way.  This means that no car should be in the way of the clean-up by either parking on the sides of the roads and leaving it there or not moving your car because you have shoveled around it. Your vehicle will be towed if you are impeding the snow removal process.

If you can’t park your vehicle in your driveways or garage, please park at one of the clubhouses (located on Tinker Road, Glastonbury Drive and Kessler Farm Drive).   Many villages have overflow parking as well.

Shoveling of decks should be done PRIOR to the final clean-up.  If you shovel your deck after the clean-up is complete in your area, it will be your responsibility to remove the snow.

Walkers, dog walkers, and children should continue to be aware of the limited visibility due to the high snowbanks and make way for plows.  You may be able to see and hear them, but they may not be able to see you.20150205_103453

Waste Management has informed the Property Manager that trash/recycle pick-up will delayed by one day this week.  Trash/recycle will be picked up on Friday, February 13, 2015.  DO NOT put your barrels and bins out before 8:00pm on Thursday, February 12, 2015.

Snow Procedure – Saturday 2/7/15 – Monday 2/9/15

Per the Property Manager, this is going to be difficult snow event to coordinate a complete clean-up of all areas over the next few days.

The Property Manager has spoken with Morin’s and has talked about a few different scenarios for the weekend.  The following instructions seems to best fit the situation at hand:

SaturdaySunday: There is a potential for 1-3 inches of snow to fall in the Nashua area on Saturday.  Since there won’t be a 24 hour window to schedule a final clean-up it before Sunday’s projected snow fall of another 1-3 inches, Morin’s indicated to the Property Manager that they will do there best  both days to plow the driveways where there are no cars parked and in which they can get the equipment into the spots without the risk of damage to another vehicle or building.  If you are going out for the day it is asked that you do not park your car on the roads in the Villages so that they can clean the roads and open to the full width.

If you can’t park your vehicle in your driveways, please park at one of the clubhouses (located on Tinker Road, Glastonbury Drive and Kessler Farm Drive).   Many villages have overflow parking as well.

Monday, February 9, 2015: There is a potential for another 4 –  8 Inches of snow to fall in the Nashua Area.  Morin’s indicated to the Property Manager that they will do there best to plow the driveways where there are no cars parked and in which they can get the equipment into the spots without the risk of damage to another vehicle or building. If you are going out for the day it is asked that you do not park your car on the roads in the Villages so that they can clean the roads and open to the full width.

Again, If you can’t park your vehicle in your driveways, please park at one of the clubhouses (located on Tinker Road, Glastonbury Drive and Kessler Farm Drive).   Many villages have overflow parking as well.

Tuesday, February 10, 2015:  Its looks like we get a break and the snow ends.  the Property Manager will send out an email blast on Monday indicating a final clean-up date and time.

This may change depending on which way the storm goes and if there are any changes to this plan, I will send out a blast.

Cars that impede the snow removal process will be towed.

To make snow clean-up more efficient please shovel snow off any decks that are over parking or walking areas PRIOR to final clean-up so the plows can move the snow away.  If you shovel your deck off after the final clean-up, it will be your responsibility to remove it off the ground.

If your unit is rented, it is the unit owner’s responsibility to provide this information to the tenant.  You can forward the email sent by the Property Manager or direct them to http://www.kesslerfarms.com Latest News block/Twitter feed.

If you have any questions, please contact the Property Manager at pmanager@kesslerfarms.com.
Please be patient as this is a long event and will get frustrating at time, but we will get through it!

Snow Procedure 2/5/15

The Property Manager spoke with Morin’s last night and the forecast was around an 1 inch of snow.  We got a little more than that!

The plan for today, Thursday, January 5, 2015, is that Morin’s will clear all the areas that they can get to.  This means, if there are no cars in the parking areas and they can get the equipment in they will clean the driveway areas.  Since most people are at work this morning, and when driving around with Morin’s, it was decided to evaluate the property around 4:00 pm and see where we are at and if we will need to schedule a final clean-up for Friday morning.

If you are home and you see them in your Village, please move your vehicle for them.  They will blow the horns to alert you they are there.

The Property Manager will send an update on the snow clean-up after 4 pm this afternoon.

If you have any questions, contact the Property Manager at pmanager@kesslerfarms.com.

If your unit is rented, it is the unit owners responsibility to notify your tenants.

Snow Procedure, Parking & Trash Pick-up for 2/2/2015 – 2/3/2015

The Property Manager has spoken with Morin’s and they will do their best to keep the roads open and passable during the storm on Monday.  On Tuesday, February 3, 2015, they will start a  final clean-up  at 9 am.  They will sound their horns when they are in your area doing the final clean-up, so please move your cars.

Cars that impede the snow removal process will be towed.

Morin’s has asked the no cars be parked in the roads, this would include individual roads into each village.  Parking on the roads will make it nearly impossible for them to open the roads to the full width of the roadway during the snow storm which is essential for safe passage.

If you can’t park your vehicle in your driveways, please park at one of the clubhouses (located on Tinker Road, Glastonbury Drive and Kessler Farm Drive).   Many villages have overflow parking as well.

Let’s once again show a lot of courtesy to our neighbors when cleaning off the cars and getting them out of the way so Morin’s can clean up the area.

To make snow cleanup more efficient please shovel snow off any decks that are over parking or walking areas PRIOR to final clean-up so the plows can move the snow away.  If you shovel your deck off after the final clean-up, it will be your responsibility to remove it off the ground.

It is also been predicted that there will be a lot of blowing snow.  It is suggested that you become aware of where your furnace vents out of the unit and check on snow drifts that may have gathered in the area and clear away any snow that may have blocked the vent.  Blocked furnace vents can cause deadly gases to come into your home.

Trash pick-up is delayed this week and will be picked-up on Friday, February 6, 2015. Please do not place barrels out before 8:00pm on Thursday.

And lastly, if the power goes out and you use your portable generator please make sure you follow proper safety precautions on placement of the generator.

If your unit is rented, it is the unit owners responsibility to forward this email message to your tenant.

Parking for 02/01/15 Snow Storm

Due to the pending storm coming in tonight, Morin’s has once
again asked that no cars be parked in the roads , this would include individual roads into each village.  Parking on the roads will make it nearly impossible for them to open the roads to the full width of the roadway during the snow storm which is essential for safe passage.

If you can’t park your vehicle in your driveways, please park at one of the clubhouses (located on Tinker Road, Glastonbury Drive and Kessler Farm Drive) or if your neighbor has only one car, ask them if you can park in their spot for the time being.  Many villages have overflow parking as well.

Cars that impede the snow removal process will be towed.

To make snow cleanup more efficient please shovel snow off any decks that are over parking or walking areas PRIOR to final clean-up so the plows can move the snow away.  If you shovel your deck off after the final clean-up, it will be your responsibility to remove it off the ground.

Let’s once again show a lot of courtesy to our neighbors when cleaning off the cars and getting them out of the way so Morin’s can clean up the area.

If your unit is rented, it is the unit owners responsibility to forward this email message to your tenant.

Look for final clean-up instructions on Monday.
