Andover Down Paving, Cranleigh Mews Access & Trash Pick-up

The paving project for Andover Down will be starting on October 1, 2014. The road that leads into your area will also be getting paved.

The residents of Andover Down will be parking along the grass at Cranleigh Mews while the project is being completed. Some unit’s owners may opt to keep the cars along the grass line while other may want to move them back to their units after the Hooksett Paving has left for the day. This will be allowed.

There will be no parking along the road leading down to the area at any time while the project is being done.

The “fire road” chain will be down so you can enter and leave this way if you choose.

Any unit that impedes the paving project will be towed at the car owner’s expense.

Due to the paving project, Waste Management will not be able to get to your unit for the weekly trash pick-up. Please place your trash in the designated area which is marked with yellow tape and cones. It is marked “Please put trash here.”

Any questions, please contact the Property Manager, Cheryl Demetriou, at or 603-204-5391.

New Knitting Club

New group of knitters/crocheters interested in getting together once or twice a month for social knitting.

Come along and bring your needles and yarns.  We don’t care if you are the best or just middlin’. Come for friendship and we could always knit things for the less fortunate if you don’t have anyone specifically to knit for!

There will be coaching on “how to knit” if you bring large needles and yarn.  It is fun and rewarding.

We are thinking of starting on Tuesday, September 30th from 1:00 to 2:30pm.   If interested, please contact 883-7363.

Last Call! Community Picnic is this Saturday!

Hello Villagers!

Our First Annual Community Picnic is this Saturday, September 13th from noon to 3:00pm (rain or shine) at the Main Club House (look for the balloons and signs). Since we have over 100 people coming, please leave your pets at home for safety! Also, parking is limited so if you can walk to the main club house that would be easier.

We want to thank everyone who has volunteered to plan the picnic and who are donating their time for the event. (Volunteers for help with Set-up/Clean-up are still needed and welcome)

We will have two different bands playing and also some entertainment for the kids as well!

If you did NOT get a chance to RSVP, but at the last minute decided you can make it, please send a quick email by Friday, September 12th to letting us know how many are attending and what you are bringing to share. You can also fill out the RSVP form at

This is a potluck event, but the VKF Committee will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers, rolls, condiments, water, paper goods, tables, chairs, tent and entertainment.  Bring YOUR OWN Drinks!

We have a limited amount of seating and tent space so if you would like to bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit in the shade that would be great!

Also, if you can donate any service or products that would help make our picnic a great event, please contact us. We are still looking for a couple of large coolers, Lots of Ice, and tents to borrow!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at

Hope to see you there!
